COVID CHARITABLE RELIEF PROGRAM
Please find attached COVID funds that may be available to 501 c 3 or c 19 charitable organizations and churches in Crook County.
It covers COVID Expenses and Lost Revenue and Income due to COVID such as cancelled or reduced fundraisers.
There is a very short deadline for this.
SUBJECT TO CHANGE the county clerk needs originals and attachments in the office by the end of the day 5 pm on the 25th so the commissioners may approve them at their February meeting. Rules and forms are self-explanatory and attached.
This deadline may change depending upon federal legislation.

Fire Advisory Board Meeting
There will be a Fire Advisory Board meeting held on January 20, 2021 a the Hulett Fire Hall. Dinner will be served at 6pm, with the meeting to follow starting at 6:30pm

The Crook County Board of County Commissioners along with a steering committee have completed the final Natural Resource Management Plan. The County developed this Plan as a tool which allows a local government to have a substantive impact on federal decisions, plans, policies, and programs. The document was made available for public comment from September 15, 2020 through October 15, 2020. Public comments received have been reviewed by the steering committee and Commissioners and were incorporated as appropriate.

Per the Secretary of State Directive 2020-07, Crook County will begin processing absentees on Friday, October 30, 2020 from 9-4 p.m. in the Commissioners Room in Sundance, WY. No results will be available. This process is only to aid the absentee board in being able to process all absentees in a timely manner so that results are not delayed on Election Day. This process will be open to any individual wishing to observe, except for candidates and the candidates committee chair. Crook County has rescinded the partial burn ban as of October 19, 2020. Please use caution when burning and call the sheriff's office to let them know you'll be burning at 307-283-1225.

Dust Mitigation Project
Notice of Final Acceptance
To all persons, corporations or firms who have any claim for work done for or any materials furnished to Dustbusters, Inc. at PO Box 15, Evanston, WY 82931 for the Crook County Dust Suppression Project, located in Crook County, Wyoming.
You are hereby notified that Crook County has accepted as completed, according to plans and specifications and rules set forth in the Agreement between the County and the aforementioned Contractor, the work in connection with Crook County Dust Suppression Project and that said Contractor is entitled to final settlement.
You are further notified that upon October 6, 2020, Crook County paid to Dustbusters, Inc., the full amount due under said Contract, and in the event that your claim is not filed with said Crook County, Wyoming prior to December 8, 2020, the same shall be waived.
This notice is given pursuant to Wyoming Statute 16-6-116.

Wyoming State Forestry Division is now accepting proposal applications for the 2020 Western States Wildland Urban Interface Grant Program (WSWUI). Offered by the Wyoming State Forestry Division in partnership with the USDA Forest Service State and Private Forestry branch, the WSWUI Grant Program offers reimbursable financial assistance for projects and emphasis on hazard fuel reduction in the WUI, information and education, assessment and planning, and monitoring through community and landowner action.
