Criminal Case Forms Communication Authorization
Before any County Attorney Office attorneys and staff discuss your case with you, you will need
to knowingly waive your rights by completing and signing the Communication Authorization and returning to our office.
If you are represented by an attorney, then the County Attorney Office attorneys and staff cannot speak to you without being provided written authorization from your attorney.
Defendant’s Discovery Request from the County Attorney
You may be entitled to the discoverable evidence to be used against you in court by the County Attorney pursuant to the Wyoming Rules of Criminal Procedure. If you would like to request discovery, complete and sign the Defendant’s Discovery Request from the County Attorney. If you request discovery you have an obligation to provide the County Attorney with discovery as well.
Defendant’s Submittal of Discovery Evidence
If you would like to submit evidence for the County Attorney to consider in your case, you may do so using the Defendant’s Submittal of Discovery Evidence. This will keep your discovery organized and properly accepted. Any evidence that you provide may end up being used against you. You should consult an attorney before submitting evidence.
If a response is required above by the County Attorney’s office, it generally takes at least a week possibly two weeks to gather the documents and respond to your request. If you do not hear from our office in two weeks, please contact our office to check on your request.
Upon completing each document, email the .pdf documents to email@example.com,then you must print and mail the original document to the County Attorney’s Office. Our mailing address is: Crook County Attorney, PO Box 397, Sundance, WY 82729.
