Recorded Documents

All real property records such as deeds, mortgages, releases, covenants and others are placed on permanent record in our office.

All documents must be originals or certified copies and must be properly acknowledged.

A one inch margin at the top of the document is preferred, but not required.

A Statement of Consideration must be completed with any transfer of land.

The office also records notary bonds, military discharges and marriage licenses. All records are public record with the exception of military discharge papers.

Birth and death certificates are recorded at the state level by the Vital Records Division of the Wyoming Department of Health. Vital Records can be contacted by calling: (307) 777-7591.
