Crook County is located in the northeast corner of Wyoming and is home to Devils Tower, America’s First National Monument. It is surrounded by Montana to the north, Campbell County to the west, Weston County to the south and South Dakota to the east. Hulett, Moorcroft, Pine Haven and Sundance are the incorporated communities in the County, with Sundance the County seat. The closest larger urban areas are Gillette, Wyoming 61 miles to the west and Rapid City, South Dakota 79 miles to the southeast.
